look, i know we haven't gotten his backstory yet but my guess is (im sorry if this is already obvious) gojo wasn't raised to protect the weak/non jujutsu sorcerers, but to destroy and eliminate curses.

his family might have never taught him to play hero.

he's just there to kill and abolish curses, a person of inhumane power as a descendant of the gojo family.

so, to do that, he has to step up his game. yuji's 'drive' is to protect. gojo just destroys. he won't allow anything to block his way.

mahito & jogo, of course, knows this. but their mistake was thinking that gojo has 'limits' of what he is willing to give up. and what may that be? his sense of humanity.

they thought by dumping a whole lot more humans in B5F, this would give them the upper hand and so gojo won't be able to activate his domain. but maybe because gojo is still a human, they really thought his sense of humanity was somewhat similar to that of a normal human being.

normal humans cannot withstand the raw power especially from satoru gojo's domain expansion ... they would be dead in no time.

and gojo also decided to activate his domain whan mahito came into the scene ... not just any other curse but MAHITO

imagine you yourself were born with the six eyes, being brought to this world with outstanding abilities that nobody around you is qualified to be your equal. you think your family would waste their time teaching you how to protect?

the gojo clan had other plans for satoru, one of them was telling him how to be a killing machine.

but.. what im thinking is all of this.. feeling nothing while being the cause of so many humans to lost their lives.. he isn't proud of it.

it has also been said so many times that he is, indeed, the strongest. a person capable of doing what nobody else can, he pleases and destroys and yet ... he feels nothing.

but i guess to surpass your own limit, there are some things you have to stop yourself from experiencing.
