I see that some people are a lot more worried about levels of safety/social distancing than others. People are entitled to feel that way - we do not know what every individuals circumstances are. They may have lost loved ones/be high risk.

2/I don’t know how many.

I see people being upset/angry about money/prices/equity deals. We don’t know what every persons financial situation is. We’re all allowed to have opinions on worth/how we want things to move forward in an industry that we’ve invested time (& our own money) into.

3/who knows?

I see people feel defensive of their efforts to try and get things going at a time when it’s borderline impossible. Which quite honestly, is EASILY understandable. It’s infuriating to put your all into trying to make things happen and feel like it’s under appreciated.

4/no idea.

Everyone is angry at the government (obviously including me). We’ve been horribly let down and it’s belittling and insulting.

It’s a minefield of negative emotions at the moment. No one can do anything “right” without there being a problem with it.

5/am I on 5? Not sure.

But the fact is - no one CAN get everything “right” right now, because people’s experiences of the virus & effects of it will fuel their feelings/reactions, & we don’t know every persons situation, so their feelings aren’t WRONG just because they aren’t the same as yours.

Everything doesn’t have to be a battle. We aren’t “all in this together” because we’re choosing not to be. And I mean that emotionally. Because logistically, we never will be, we can’t be - it’s just not how a competitive industry works.

So on an emotional level - the indirects, aggression, public slanging. Does it have to be like THIS? Can we not have calm discussions? Ask people WHY they feel this way? They may be worried about safety because they’ve lost family members to COVID & need some reassurance?

The vitriol against each other is almost too much to bear at the moment. Surely we can all at very least be kinder than this.
