To catch you guys up:
In the middle of September, I set out on my long awaited trip to the UK to see my fiancée Blake. Our last time seeing each other was in late February of this year. The world is in a bad state, but the UK is still allowing US visitors with restrictions.
As long as I was willing to agree to a 14 day quarantine (spent with Blake) then I was good to enter, which I was happy to agree to.

That, however, didn't prove to be the challenge.
My trip was scheduled as followed:

Boise > Seattle
Seattle > Dublin
Dublin > England

Upon arriving at the Boise Airport, I immediately ran into a problem when I discovered my flight from Dublin to England had been canceled without my knowledge.
The agents in Boise couldn't do much as the canceled flight was ran by an international airline. They advised I take my first flight to Seattle and work it out with the agents there.

SO I SAID HEY YEAH WHAT COULD GO WRONG LETS JUST GO
Long story short, waited 3 hours in Seattle, no agents showed up, flight to Dublin canceled, spent hours on hold with travel agency, no returned communication, spent 42 hours awake trying to solve, got harassed by airport druggies. Here's me on 38 conscious hours having fun! :)
(ignore the tear stained glasses, your mental starts to break after that 30 hour mark lmfAO)
I ended up buying myself a hotel to get some much needed sleep (not compensated for, of course) worked for several hours the next morning, succumbed to helplessness, spent several hours comforting each other on the phone, and went home.
Long distance couples have it really fucking hard right now. I feel for anyone else in a similar situation.

Please wear a mask so my fiancée and I can see each other again soon, that'd be awesome.

Keeping smiles on for now, moved into a new place recently, staying positive! 💖
