"I'll give you a crown," Suna says.

Osamu laughs and lays down on the grass. "What, like a flower crown?"

"No," Suna tips his chin up with a finger, "I'll give you a gold crown. I'll make you a king."
Snorting, Osamu pushes Suna away. "Yeah, right. And how will ya do that?"

Suna smiles, secretive. Osamu wonders if he would ever share his meanings. "Wouldn't you like to know?"

"Why, ya gonna make it a promise?"
Something flashes in Suna's gold eyes. He tilts his head to the side, considering. "Do you want me to?"

"To what, promise to make me a king?"

Suna hums, waiting.

Osamu feels as if there's a second conversation taking place. "Dunno, do ya want me to?"
"Of course," Suna answers. "I would be happy if you want me to. That means-" Suna falters. He seems to think more carefully of his words as he continues, "that means you want to be with me."
Osamu looks at him, confused. "Of course I wanna be with you. I'm here with ya, Sunarin."

Suna shakes his head. "No, beyond this. Beyond the point of friendship."

Best friends? "Yeah, that too."
"You do?" Suna looks ecstatic.

"'Course I do. Wouldn't be meetin' ya everyday if I don't."
Suna smiles wide, happiness pouring out of him. Osamu wonders if being best friends makes Suna that happy. Suna, on the other hand, is thinking of matching golden rings and crowns. He should contact the jeweler soon.
