I made this thread cause I was generally curious to see how YG's other big groups compared to BP in terms of content, especially since a lot of Blonks started complaining bc of the recent news with TREASURE. And honestly I was general surprised.

While the girls do have about 10 or so less songs and had a longer wait for both their first studio album and first mini album than all the other groups. They've had the same number, and in some cases more, releases as the other groups.

On top of that I've found that they've also been more consistent with their releases, where a lot of the other groups went a year or more without releasing new material, BP has had at least one release every year.

Overall, while the girls definitely had smaller releases than most groups in the beginning, the number of releases they've had as well as the speed of those releases I've found to be roughly the same, while at the same time being more consistent than most groups in the beginning.

At the end of the day. I get the complaints, but I'm currently truly happy with how the girls have been promoted with this recent comeback. I'm proud after so long they've released the perfect 1st album and I hope that this is a turning point for them.
