I don't want to say which season is better because both has the same tension and the same headache i suffered from by watching it lmaoo

The writernim cleverly puts LCJ's last message in season 1 to undermine that the fight towards the truth is a never ending battle. If you stop for awhile then it's an end. It opens the possibility of season 3 bcs HWS and HYJ's fight doesn't end just that.

I was teared up watching this scene

LCJ and YS was dead. KWC resigned from prosecution, and Chief Yoon is jailed. When SDJ wants to join them, LCJ stopped him as if he's trying to say that the fight mist go on and he has to stay alive to help Shi Mok

While some might say this season finale wasn't as good as the first season, I must agree to that. No such thing as LCJ sudden death, I remembered I was so startled bcs i didn't expect that to happen.

But still, season 2 finale still satisfying to watch eventho we didn't get....
