What triggered the above tweet is because I’m at a car auction and I see many cars from my people and the age is youth in majority.
Salary alone is not safe and it will never be safe, I don’t care how much you take home. A wise young person need to have multiple income

At my age I’ve learned that going at things alone is not wisdom because you loved once with salaries will still ask you for money so liberate them too.

So we decided to work towards buying land so we can do Live Stock farming.
The 3 of us qualified for those fancy cars and bonds but we decided to take loans instead of starting with driving a Mac on installment.

We took the money and bought the land fast forward the live stock. I’m driving a Polo Classic and my brother a Tazz but young sister was not driving then.
Fast forward we got a bakkie, we all lived with our parents and we were cool about it...2 Doctors and me the Engineer home

We knew that the end goal was to use our salaries to make us live the life we wish and dreamed off...we didn’t want anything to do with government but our own hustle.
10yrs later our farm make more than the 5M we borrowed from the banks using our salaries and credit score

I don’t owe any car or house today. I’ve no stress of debit order today. We’re now also in property and we never feel the pandemic.
I’ve stopped working now I’m full time at the farm but my siblings are still working cause they believe is their calling being doctors
