In one week, delivery rider Diego and @TWUAus are taking @Deliveroo_AU to court.

If they win, food delivery riders could finally secure the rights they should be entitled to like penalty rates, overtime, sick leave and workers compensation. 1/7
Diego's court case is important, and could change the lives of thousands of gig workers across the country.

Nearly 8000 people have signed Diego's petition and donated nearly $5000 to his court case (chip in here: https://diego.raisely.com/ ) 2/7
But regardless of the outcome, Deliveroo need to know that we all stand in solidarity with Diego - and that the public are on his side. 3/7
But Deliveroo could make this decision tomorrow if they wanted to. They've made a call to deliberately deprive thousands of food delivery riders of the hard-won rights that Australian workers have fought for. 4/7
Can you join us in publicly calling out Deliveroo's exploitation of food delivery riders? Tag them in a tweet using @Deliveroo_AU and #rights4riders 5/7
We need to make sure they know it's bigger than just this court case. That we won't stand for their exploitation and shameful treatment of food delivery riders. 6/7
Deliveroo are one of the biggest food delivery companies in the world. The only way Diego and food delivery riders can win is if we all fight back together.

Will you stand in solidarity with Diego and all gig economy workers by sending a public message to Deliveroo? 7/7
You can follow @MegaphoneAU.
