No politician is owed your loyalty, period - you should ALWAYS be as willing to criticize as you are to praise.
This is part of what really bothers me about the Democratic Party now: people like Kamala are so comfortable just saying "please vote" rather than "vote for us" because they& #39;re assuming a win by default, just because Trump = bad. They dont feel they have to earn anyone& #39;s support.
I mean hell, just look at who they& #39;re running. They could& #39;ve chosen Bernie and received nearly an entire generation of enthusiastic support, or Tulsi, who has real promise and dedication to rallying the nation behind her. But of course, they didn& #39;t - instead, we got Biden/Harris.
Biden - former Vice President of a widely unsatisfactory, even disliked administration (even among those who voted for it) who is clearly deteriorating,
and Harris - one of the most wildly unlikeable candidates in the Democratic primaries with a horrifically corrupt record.
