Hi guys Gonna do a little recap thread of Naomi’s 2020 season and cover all her wins throughout the year Enjoy!

Beginning the year off with Brisbane International

First match of the year facing Maria Sakkari to start with

6-2 6-7 6-3 she battles out her first win of the year

onto the Round of 16 aganist Sofia Kenin

6-7 6-3 6-1 ended this match with a BANG!

It was quite the wild night match when she played Kiki Bertens in the Quarters..

but she powered through winning in three 6-3 3-6 6-3

First slam of this crazy year: Australian Open

Her first round match at the AO this year was eventful, her dad sat in her box too

She defeats Marie Bouzková 6-2 6-4 to advance into the next round

For the 2nd roundaganist Saisai Zheng

6-2 6-4 clean win for naomi

Indian Wells obviously did not go ahead and neither did much else afterwards but before she left the grounds she did a really cute WTA photoshoot I’ll post more pics below

Switching over to Cincy which was this year played in New York, first time back since Quarantine

Round oneof Cincy. Let’s gooooo

6-7 6-4 6-2 for the win

Played Yastrzemska in the 2nd round and won that like a breeeezeeee

6-3 6-1

In the third round she faces Anett Kontaveit in what I (personally) think was a really good match

She fought so hard through winning 4-6 6-2 7-5

Semifinals against Elise Mertens

6-2 7-6 as she reaches her first final at the Cincinnati Open

And we top it off with Naomi’s final tournament of 2020: US Open

She gave us a heartattack aganist Misaki Doi in R1

6-2 5-7 6-2 and she also came out in a mask that said Breonna Taylor. She stated that she had hopes of making it to the finals and we’d see all 7 of her masks she had, that’s exactly what happened

Diving Into the 2nd round

Super quick 6-1 6-2

Her only day match this year at the US Open was aganist Marta Kostyuk

6-3 6-7 6-2 and into the round of 16 defending her points out here

Rematch against Anett on this late night in New York

but she won again 6-3 6-4

Quarters night she faces Shelby Rogers

6-3 6-4

In the Semis she faces tough opponent Jennifer Brady

7-6 3-6 6-3 to reach her 2nd USO final, she played so amazing

Naomi’s 2nd USO Final aganist Victoria Azarenka

Couldn’t even breathe during this. 1-6 6-3 6-3 Naomi claims her 3rd grand slam title

Victory so damn sweet, what a way to ends the year Naomi We’re so proud
