let’s start with the crop top... he was trending for like a full day?!? all toxic masculinity thrown out the window!
yeonjun’s dancing: video example: hips. now the truth: he’s able to express a dance so well because he’s not scared to dance in ways that may go against male societal standards, he puts his all into a dance no matter how society has classified it
hes an idol and can’t easily speak his mind on controversial topics, but his effort subtly to express his opinions such as this shirt is very admirable and helps us learn a little more about the type of person yeonjun is
song cry: he CHANGED the og lyrics from “a man ain’t supposed to cry” to "a man is supposed to cry" saying its okay for men to be emotional and it’s not a sign of weakness, but a normalization to talk abt their real feelings
anyway, i really love yeonjun and his 4th gen revolutionary mind, he never fails to be moas healing idol~

there is some debate that song cry’s lyrics weren’t actually changed and he just smashed the words together like most artist do when they sing, personally i hear “is” but you can form your own opinion of what you listen and how you interpret it+
after all, music can interpreted differently based on each individual, and also even if it’s just one word of a difference, i think we all understand yeonjun’s love for this song and how by this cover he is showing us that through this song he will also express his emotions to us
i’ll also add this it’s very wholesome makes me proud to be a moa~
