Second week of early voting in Ohio starts tomorrow. Here's some info about absentee ballot requests and in-person voting so far in 2020, with some breakdowns of partisan-affiliated voters. At least 2,154,235 Ohio voters have sent absentee ballots requests, which is a record.

So far in 60 Ohio counties, including the 3 largest, Democratic-affiliated voters mailed in 240,643 more absentee ballot requests than Republican-affiliated voters. In all of 2016, GOP-affiliated voters sent in 50,927 more requests than Dem-affiliated voters in those counties.

Most requests are from unaffiliated voters. But in those 60 Ohio counties in 2016, 55% of partisan-affiliated ballot requests were from Republicans, 45% Democrats. So far in those 60 counties in 2020, 66% of partisan-affiliated ballot requests are from Democrats, 34% GOP.

In-person voting: In Republican-dominated Delaware County, there's a 313% increase of in-person votes over this point in 2016, when 41.5% were GOP-affiliated voters and 33.6% were Democratic. So far in 2020, 38% of in-person votes are from Dem-affiliated voters, 28% from GOP.

In Franklin County, blue since '96, in-person votes are 121% of total at this time in 2016. Democratic-affiliated voters were 58% of that, with 12% from Republican-affiliated voters. So far in 2020, 56% of ballots cast in person are from Democratic-affiliated voters, 6% from GOP.

Bellwether Erie County, which Trump won by 9.56%, has a 121% in-person vote increase. 44% of in-person ballots so far have been cast by Democratic-affiliated voters, 22% by Republicans. At this point in 2016, 50% of ballots were cast by Democratic-affiliated voters, 27% by GOP.

In swing Portage County, which Trump won by almost 10%, there's an 174% increase in in-person votes from this point in 2016, when 51% of early in-person ballots were cast by Democratic-affiliated voters. So far in 2020, 45% of ballots are from Democrats, 22% from Republicans.

In 2016, Montgomery County went to a GOP pres candidate for the 1st time in 28 years. 17% of in-person votes at this time in 2016 were from Republican-affiliated voters, 55% from Democrats. So far in 2020, 10% of in-person votes are from GOP-affiliated voters, 49% from Democrats.

Summit County has voted Democratic since '88. There's a 125% increase in in-person votes from at this point in 2016. 61% of early in-person ballots then were cast by Democratic-affiliated voters, 16% by Republicans. So far in 2020, 53% of ballots are from Democrats, 12% from GOP.

In Republican Warren County, there's an 265% increase in in-person votes over this point in 2016, when 31% of early in-person ballots were cast by Democratic-affiliated voters, 45% by Republicans. So far in 2020, 28% of ballots are from Democrats, 36% from Republicans.
