I will be using the certification system as of 2003 for all to keep it simple (i.e. a single that sold 300K in 2002 would have been considered Gold at that time but Platinum now, so I will count it as Platinum)

RIAJ Certification Guide

Gold = 100K
Platinum = 250K
Million = 1 million

Final note before I get started, I will be doing this strictly for her music releases but Ayu has also sold over 2.5 million DVD/BDs in Japan alone making her the 2nd highest selling soloist in Japan for DVD sales
