1. ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐จ๐๐๐๐ง ๐ง๐๐๐ค๐ซ๐๐ง๐ฎ: i understand this might not be an option for everyone at this very moment, but dealing with school while also dealing with mental health is unsustainable in the long run. you deserve to get better and lead a successful life. please reach out.
if recovery isnโt what you choose for yourself right now, thatโs okay. i hope that, eventually, youโll get there. here are some ways to struggle a little less for now.
2. ๐๐ค๐ฃโ๐ฉ ๐๐๐จ๐ฉ/๐ง๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ง๐๐๐ฉ ๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก๐ฎ ๐ฌ๐๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ฃ ๐๐ก๐๐จ๐จ, ๐ฌ๐ค๐ง๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ค๐ง ๐จ๐ฉ๐ช๐๐ฎ๐๐ฃ๐: while this might work for a little while, you will soon become overwhelmed by thoughts about food and hunger that make it impossible to focus. what can you do?
now, obviously, thatโs the hard part, right? for studying you need lots of energy! itโs very, very, very hard. that is why i highly suggest you primarily eat foods high in protein and fibre such as eggs, avocados, apples, oatmeal, spinach... (you can find more on google easily)
it is always better to eat a little more than to sit over your books for 3 hours just thinking about how hungry you are and not learning anything, or walking out of a 3 hour lecture knowing you retained no information. donโt waste your time you could have used efficiently.
๐๐ค๐ง ๐๐ฃ๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ: before studying i love to eat scrambled eggs or oatmeal bowls and my favourite study snacks include pumpkin seeds, grapes, nuts (especially pistachios) and cherry tomatos!
3. ๐๐ค๐ฃโ๐ฉ ๐ค๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ค ๐๐ฉ ๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ฃ๐!: look, now, i get it, itโs energy, it suppresses appetite, itโs low to no calories BUT too much can be very harmful to your health! try to limit yourself to a maximum of 2 caffeinated drinks a day. really, pls donโt go over 3
4. ๐๐ค๐ฃโ๐ฉ ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ค๐ค ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ค๐ฃ ๐ฎ๐ค๐ช๐ง๐จ๐๐ก๐: if you cannot get up, maybe take your notes to bed and try to at least read through them there! itโs okay if you cannot study at your desk everyday. youโre struggling and you are still managing to do so amazing!
if you didnโt do as much work as you planned on, that is okay too! if you need to skip a class to rest a little more, that is absolutely okay!!! tomorrow is a new day and maybe you can eat a little more and have a little more energy and do better. rest. donโt push yourself
