Some Jews, like me, have ancestry from the Roman province of Judea in West Asia ~1900 years ago before being expelled. A lot of jews have a completely different heritage cuz, you know, converts and tribal merging.

That doesn't make us "indigenous" to Israel-Palestine
Lots of groups end up having to migrate or end up in diaspora for lots of reasons. But "Indigenous" is a term that exists in relation to Settler Colonialism specifically. The Romans didn't do Settler Colonialism in Judea it was just normal Classical Empire.
We were never the only people living in Judea! We were just the most dominant group in Judea and had been the group which ruled the region before we were conquered by Rome.

Samaritans weren't expelled from Judea. Arabs weren't. Druze weren't. Christians weren't.
Settler Colonialism seeks to completely displace the entire indigenous population in place of the settler population. The Romans weren't expelling us so more Italians could live there. It was because we had staged multiple rebellions to declare independence from their empire
This is not me trying to be justify us being expelled and experiencing 1900 years of diaspora and oppression wherever we went!

But it's not the narrative of settler colonialism. It's not the narrative of indigeneity. It wasn't the Trail of Tears. It was also 1900 years ago
Since then we have become one of the most diverse groups in the world with so many different diaspora subgroupings and the incredibly diverse backgrounds brought into our communities from other people joining our tribes and becoming a part of our people for generations
Not every Jew can universally trace heritage to the old Land of Israel and brutally erecting an apartheid state on that land displacing other people who lived on that land side-by-side with some of us for generations isn't decolonization at all what a horrifying thing to do
Did you know that under the Ottoman Empire Jews and Arabs lived side by side in harmony for centuries!? Including in Palestine?!

After the fall of the Roman Empire, there was many times when we could have returned if we wanted. Many Jews did do this. No nation-state was needed
The reason Herzl and his friends wanted to turn Palestine-Israel into a nation-state "for the Jews" was entirely for the purpose of profit. If you read Der Judenstaadt this is pretty clear in Herzl's own words. He wanted to do Settler Colonialism just like the British have done
The State of Israel is not decolonization of the land by indigenous people. It is, in fact, Settler Colonialism enacted upon Palestine by the Western Empires as a way to establish economic control in the region and also as their own answer to "The Jewish Question" as a bonus.
Functionally, the State of Israel is a satellite state of the US Empire. It receives so much funding and military support and in return US interests in the region are advanced. The Israeli economy is dependent on the US economy and probably could not survive on its own as it is.
Meanwhile Palestinians of MANY ethnic groups, not just Arabs (tho still MANY Arabs), are displaced onto less and less land and deprived of their ability to live a decent life. It's an atrocity and a shande and THAT process makes them indigenous. They actually remember Palestine
It requires archaeology to find evidence that any Jews used to live in what is now Palestine. By and large we have the most distant of memories of the land. I'm not saying there's no connection but that connection is one of culture heritage, not of a colonized people.
We don't need our own violent nation-state to thrive or be safe. We don't need this apartheid system disguised as two countries where one is occupying the other and even denies that it exists. It's just not necessary
The bourgeoisie have deceived many working class Jews into supporting an atrocity through the Zionist project. They have placed Land and Nation over what truly defines us as Jews. They have erased the beautiful diversity of the diaspora and BIJOC.
The only way for all Jews to be achieve liberation is not to do settled colonialism and call it "decolonization" (Palestinians aren't Romans???)

It's to band together with ALL working class people of the world against our shared oppressors, The White Supremacist Bourgeoisie
