it's just truly baffling to me that with everything going on there is a not insignificant number of people voting who are generally like "but what about my gun ????"

like... the climate is changing at near-apocalyptic speed, the coronavirus is still not under control and has killed hundreds of thousands of people, the economy is bad, but there are people genuinely more concerned that they won't be able to buy more guns ??

also it goes without saying that most dems are FAR from extreme on gun control, but even if the 2nd amendment actually *was* at risk.... THAT's your MAIN issue ???

anyway this thread was inspired by someone saying texas won't go blue because they're worried about gun control and it sent me spiraling
