I don't know who needs to hear this, but voting for the Green Party isn't a "protest" vote against our sham democracy, the Green Party is sham democracy. They don't even attempt to govern.

If you want to cast a protest vote you'd be better of writing in "Boaty McBoatface".

The only thing the Green Party does is sap energy from activism into electoral politics. Not even real electoralism, pretend electoralism. They don't even want to win, and if they did the only thing it would accomplish is the Democratic party would be renamed "The Green Party".

The existence of the Green Party is actively harmful to the left, because they present a pretend left-wing option to pretend to vote for once every four years. It's better to vote for nothing than vote for them, because then at least no one would be pretending.
