What is going on in #Georgia right now should infuriate you. People are still in line right now who got there at 6:30. Huge parking lots full lines. Lines around buildings. People standing in the rain.

People like to talk about long lines as a reflection of enthusiasm and determination. And that’s true. BUT. Lines are also evidence of voter suppression. Dedication shouldn’t be necessary. As Stacey Abrams always says: The 21st-century version of voter suppression is sneaky. It looks like human error. But it’s a feature of the system, not a bug.

Voter suppression targets people of color & young people. It also inflicts additional pain on voters with disabilities. It denies, to all of these groups, the fundamental right to #vote .
