When you learn something (at uni, school or wherever), don't just learn it for the sake of exams or the degree. Yes that is the main purpose so world hard and achieve the best. But what I mean is to learn and acquire knowledge so you increase your academic and intellectual scope.

So you become a better all round and multi-dimensional person who can discuss various topics, even those outside his degree area or field. Learn so you become more confident and so you can dialogue with new people, or people who are in a different field to you.

This will make you very versatile and creative. For example, if you're studying a degree in Pharmacy, in your free time learn Islam. Learn History, Politics, Economics. Diversify yourself with a plethora of topics.
