Today I got home and my sister wasn& #39;t there. We have a simple rule, she goes anywhere she tells me.
She& #39;s meeting friends she gives me their names, cell numbers and location of the hangout.
I didn& #39;t get that message today.
According to her schedule she should have been home so I panicked.
Tried to call and her phone was off.
Asked neighbours and they saw her leave, they didn& #39;t know to where.
So I went to ask the security he too confirmed that she left the building but didn& #39;t know where to.
I dialed her number again, still off.
I called her friends and none knew where she was. I sent her this message and it was one tick
I was close to tears when she came back. Some odd 20 minutes later.
She had gone to buy Oros and bread, she didn& #39;t think it was important the shop is close by.
I went on to tell her how kids go to the Spaza shop and are never seen again. She was sorry and we agreed that even if she& #39;s going to the store she tells me.
Let me just say South African women live in an open air prison and kids are growing up in fear.
It& #39;s hellish
