rating heartbreak weather by niall horan but rate it by how easy it is to play on the violin; a thread
- heartbreak weather: -10000/10. horrible key, too many flats, would have to be played in half position or something stupid like that
- black and white: 7/10. easy, pretty basic melody line and nice chance for harmonies. but would sound gorgeous played by an orchestra.
- dear patience: 10/10. would sound gorgeous played by an orchestra, would give it that extra sad sucker punch.
- bend the rules: 8/10. again, easy melody line to play, would sound gorgeous played by an orchestra.
- small talk: 5/10. good key but the lowest notes of the song go just below the violin range so i can't play the whole melody line which knocks points off.
- nice to meet ya: 8/10. basic melody line and structure, would sound quite nice played by an orchestra.
- pallom: 9/10. has a nice violin line in it already so i don't feel the need to play one over that one.
- arms of a stranger: -22/10. horrible key for the violin to play in, but pretty easy melody line.
- everywhere: 9/10. easy melody line, easy to play pizz so would sound gorgeous played properly.
- cross your mind: -26/10. horrible key, too many flats, not easy to play on a bowed instrument.
- new angel: 8/10. easy melody line, nice open string notes, would sound nice with a string accompaniment.
- no judgement: 4/10. plays okay, but i don’t like the key that it’s in because i’m fussy and hate playing with my fourth finger.
- san francisco: 6/10. again, points taken off because i hate playing with my fourth finger but it’s an easier key, but pretty basic melody line.
- still: 8/10. not too bad a key but would sound GORGEOUS played by a full orchestra rather than just the string ensemble that is used in the original.
end of thread i hope u enjoyed me getting lazier and lazier towards the end
