I know we all know & maybe we're all just too tired to face it, but asking so many people to stop seeing the people they love is a huge thing - & yet it feels like we're not even bothering to talk about / note how many people are being asked to endure that

Face-to-face contact makes a massive difference but seeing people out outdoors just isn't possible in lots of circumstances & will get harder as the nights draw in and winter wears on.

Of course it matters what happens to businesses, but the reason so many of us love the pub / eating out etc is because it's where we spend time with the people we love.. so as well as supporting the businesses who are impacted..

Alongside announcements like today's we need more support for the organisations helping with social connection, those working to close the digital divide & help people stay connected, & those helping people cope with the emotional toll of separation
