not to be soft but i have this hc that when sakuatsu get together, everyone gets the shock of their life, not only bc these two ??? actually like each other ??? but also because sakusa very publicly babies and spoils atsumu. +

the jackals actually find out about them dating when the entire team goes out for lunch and everyone just stares in absolute shock as omi brings out wet wipes and cleans atsumu’s hands for him before eating :( he also sprays the seat and table for atsumu :(

sakusa going everywhere with two cleaning kits !!! one for him and one for atsumu. always ready with his spray and his wet wipes to clean for atsumu :( atsumu starts wearing face masks now too bc it makes omi worry less :(

everyone who thought sakusa wouldn’t be an affectionate partner thought wrong :( beCAUSE :( he’s never not holding atsumu’s hand :( always pressing quick kisses to atsumu’s temple or his cheek :(

they would still bicker of course, but sakusa would always be the first one to call someone else out when they’ve gone too far w teasing atsumu. protective omi !!! will disinfect u before beating the fuck outta u if u ever hurt atsumu in any way.

omi would always let atsumu sleep on his shoulder on the bus :( he’d wrap an arm around his shoulders and secure atsumu’s head with a gentle hand so he won’t get jostled in his sleep :(

also filthy rich omi !!! buying atsumu all the ridiculous shit he could ever ask for :( what atsumu wants, atsumu gets :( he always has a bag full of atsumu’s favorite snacks and sweets :( buys atsumu all kinds of clothes and about 100 different jackets (of the softest kind)

atsumu still being his playful cocky self around the team and to everyone’s surprise ??? omi indulges him all the time now :( atsumu would make a joke about how handsome he is and omi would just kiss his cheek and sincerely agree.

omi openly calling atsumu the sweetest pet names (causing different meltdowns from his teammates):

“that’s enough practice baby, we need to go home.”

“wash your hands, sweetheart.”

“nice serve, boo.”

“come on sugar, you’ve got this.”

to everyone’s surprise, sakusa kiyoomi is a hugger !!! after atsumu gets out of the shower in the locker room, omi would sometimes latch himself on atsumu’s back, hugging him by the waist and burying his nose in atsumu’s neck :( +

or after a really good game, omi would just swoop atsumu in a hug :( he’d give atsumu a quick kiss on the forehead and proceed to tell him just how well he did :(

just :( atsumu being showered with love and affection :( and atsumu giving as good as he gets !!! like he does everything, he gives loving sakusa kiyoomi his all :(
