this is the difference made by less than a year of practice. if you& #39;re practicing, you& #39;re improving, even if you can& #39;t see it right now.
people usually think of "improving their writing" as stuff on the sentence level--picking and choosing words, improving their vocabulary, etc.

but there& #39;s way more to it than that? you learn how to construct scenes. how to weave in worldbuilding. how to create a *whole.*
yeah, sure, i GUESS my writing is better on the sentence level, whatever. but it& #39;s what i do with those sentences that& #39;s grown. and i hadn& #39;t even noticed until I put these two things side by side
