What you see here is not legally justifiable for a civilian. There was no imminent threat to his life at the time. The victim was backing up and it was clearly a one on one engagement with no other threats in the vicinity.

Furthermore, the victim did not raise his can of mace until AFTER the shooter had drawn his firearm and began pointing it at the victim.

Lessons?

1. If you can afford a handgun with slide mounted optic and a weapon mounted light, you can afford the cost of a "use of force" class taught by a professional. Practicing your drawstroke and punching headshots for the & #39;Gram doesn& #39;t make you a competent decision maker.

2. Don& #39;t get in fights at emotionally charged rallies unless your life is in danger. You don& #39;t know who you& #39;re slapping, or what they have hidden under their shirt. At the end of th day the most important thing is to get home to your family alive.
