I finished Gankutsuou yesterday so wanted to share my overall thoughts on it
Gankutsuou, A story about hatred, love, fate and revenge.

I have some mixed feelings about this show but let me say some positives
One of the most charming, chilling and great antagonist
Count is easily my favorite character and he stole the show for me no doubt. His VA did an amazing job portraying his character

Strongest aspect of this show are creative, unique and beautiful visuals and backgrounds I have seen in Anime. These should be framed on Museum or something it's a work of art

Now onto the story while it was good I have issues with the pacing and how they handle the story. Most of the scenes feels like cut out characters appear suddenly out of nowhere whenever something is happening and I didn't like that.

Another issue I have is that cast is weak. Other than Count, Frantz and Eugenie I don't like the cast that much so it hinder my enjoyment
But despite these flaws I still think it's a good show and worth checking out
