So I ran the numbers:
1) PL Broadcasting Rev 18/19 - £3.04B
2) EFL Broadcst Rev 18/19-£576M*
3) Total Broadcasting - £3.625B
4) PL Broadcast Rev/Club-£152M
(Remember Number 4) https://twitter.com/david_conn/status/1315379850035826688
New Formula: 75% Broadcasting Revenues for PL and 25% to EFL. So recasting the 18/19 No's.
5) Broadcasting share for PL: £2.718B
6) PL Broadcast share per club: £151M (only 18 clubs remember)

You read that right. A difference of £1 Mn for PL clubs. AND a power grab.
This has to be the most blatant self serving plan possible. That it has support is just utter nonsense.
*The Broadcast revenues for PL is exact has been calculated at 54% of revenues basis the % of broadcast revenues of the championship clubs.

Run the same numbers for the previous season 17/18.
And it gets interesting...the centrally negotiated pool of revenues (PL portion) will shrink by 21% since PL clubs will be able to sell the rights for 8 matches in a season directly. So PL clubs actually gain revenues through this mechanism. https://twitter.com/KieranMaguire/status/1315609229831663616?s=19
