Alright Twitter, here’s a story. So on Wednesday I wasn’t feeling well, and Thursday through Friday I felt worse every day and started to get concerned, on Friday before school I ordered a covid test to be safe, I had a headache, temperature, bad cough, back ache (idk if that’s-
-related but I had it), I waited for it to arrive to only discover I had to wait until Monday to take it as that’s when postboxes open, Saturday and Sunday I kept feeling worse and worse, I did things like play video games and watch videos to take my mind off of it but i was-
-still in pain. On Sunday morning and Monday morning I woke up at about 3am to get some water as I had a massive headache and felt dehydrated, something that wasn’t normal. On Sunday my parents kept saying I had to go in tomorrow, but as government guidelines, I couldn’t after I-
-had took the test. This is common knowledge and I have a screenshot from the government website to prove it. I kept thinking there’s no way they’re gonna make me go into school, they’re sane right? I was wrong. On Monday morning they told me I’m going in after I took the test-
-which is literally against the government guidelines. I took the test and they kept saying I’m going in, I said no, I’m not, because they’re not above the government. They then proceeded to threaten me with taking my phone and computer off of me for not going in, I said okay,-
-that’s the least of my worries. I decided to go upstairs and chill out in the bathroom until they left. My dad left to take the others to school and it was just me and my mum at home. My mum kept saying I had to go in and I kept telling her about the policies and she said she-
-didn’t care about the policies and that she won’t post the test, she would just throw it away. I know it’s unlikely I have the virus but if I had it and she threw it away it could be big trouble. I decided to take matters into my own hands and left home with the test and my-
-phone. I went to the post box and posted the test, on the way back I saw my dads car pulling out of the drive and he saw me coming back, he drove over to me and told me to get in the car. I said no, as he was probably going to take me to school, he got out the car and walked-
-towards me, I was unsure what he was going to do. And then he started grabbing me and pushing me towards the car, I wasn’t 8 anymore so I could resist and push him away, he tried with all his might to grab me, push me, pull me, shove me into his car while yelling, “get in my-
-car” over and over again. The more he tried to force me the more I was willing to push against him, it had literally been 2 or 3 minutes of struggle and he was breathing really heavily, but I was completely fine and could go on for another 10 minutes. He kept pushing and trying-
-and after a few more pushes he fell over, I wasn’t going to let him take me anywhere. He was on the ground in pain. He was saying “oh fuck” and “ouch” and grunting and stuff, I slightly felt bad but I wasn’t going to show it. He crawled back into his car after a couple minutes-
-and told me to get in. After one final “no” he drove up the road back home. And I walked off. I’m not wandering in a undisclosed area, my parents have called me 22 times and I haven’t picked up a single one of them. My mum is texting me and I’m replying to show I’m okay, but-
-I’m not going to say where I am. I will go home if I want, when I want and on my own terms. My mum texted me saying “School have said you have to stay off until your results are back.” It just sucks that it took all of this for them to realise they’re not above the fucking-
-government. I told them they’re not above the government and they just told me to come home. That’s all that’s happened so far. I’ll keep this thread updated if anything else happens
