Bill Burr’s monologue segment re: WW wasn’t anything to be celebrated and I’m again disappointed at Black folks aligning with gendered insults just to take digs at white women. That whole segment was misogynistic trash just like the “Karen” nonsense.
It’s grand for WM to talk down abt WW bc of course they can. That’s why WW stay mad—they deal with misogyny and violence from these exact men even when they hold them down and lift them up
Women of other races do the same thing, if not more so

We coddle our men as they enact misogynistic violence against us and make even more excuses for it bc we aren’t white

Y’all acting brand new?

Gotcha.
WM made WW who they are.

Let’s run that back...

WW are the way they are bc WM made them so

So for a WM to pretend to be calling them out and be celebrated by Black people, I’m trying to understand how we got here...

How are we cheering on a white patriarchal rant?
And he made light of WW accusing BM of rape to make a joke about WW not being oppressed but maybe y’all didn’t catch that line?

That was cool for the keekees?

Oh.
Some of you are entirely too obsessed with WW’s behaviors and that temporary feeling of bliss you have when you’re able to stick it to them is like a drug

Shit is weird. You’re centering WW in your life, letting them live rent-free in your heads.

Why?
That’s not activism lol

It’s definitely not Black liberation work.

It’s a subtle attempt to disempower WW using similar tactics WM use against them. Even the talking points are familiar.

Is that who you really wanna be and what you really wanna do?
What’s worse is some will read this as defense of racist WW and remind me that I have no idea why I even bother anymore because we are having different conversations in different languages.
Y’all got it I guess

I’m not fixated on WW to the point I follow them down the street or in my car recording them, I don’t care if they don’t want me living next to them, and I damn sure ain’t about to cheer on a WM talking shit abt his creation.
