Please use "disabled people" instead of "people with disabilities", especially if you are British and or non-disabled.
Saying "people with disabilities" is kind of a dead giveaway that you don't know disabled people and don't read their theories.

(and yes, I am aware there are some folks who prefer "people with disabilities", I am referring to markers)
And no, this is not some quote-unquote "identity politics". It fits into your material analysis.

Many prefer say "disabled people" because people forget to meet our needs. Hence why we put it in front.

If we don't want to be called disabled, we just drop the descriptor. Simple.
