Of 1000 schoolchildren surveyed by @Food_Foundation in September, only 46% said canteens were operating as normal.
8% reported their canteens were closed.
21% said canteens were only serving a small number of pupils...

Blackpool council have seen a 21% increase in free school meal applications.
Suffolk recorded a 15% increase.
