Plastic recycling is largely a con. It mostly goes to the dump.

To be clear, the responsibility shouldn't simply be on consumers. Government and corporations must step up, must innovate and provide alternatives, must incentivize the shift away from disposables.

50%+ of plastic is used in disposable packaging.
91% of plastics end up in landfills and never get recycled.
