For @AndySemple1990 - here's a breakdown of Robby McCrorie's stats for @LiviFCOfficial

He currently has the worst Goals Saved Above Average rate in the league, so I combined with last season's numbers to get a better understanding of what's happening.
Shots are categorized by how 'dangerous' they are. A breakdown of each category can be seen in this excerpt from a blog post from summer of 2019.
This is the 1st time I've tried this visual. You can see McCrorie's Sv% from different categories of shots (explained earlier in thread) & how it compares to the league average since beginning of 2018-19 season.

Also, I poorly labeled a breakdown of the rate of shots & goals
The categories of shots to hone in on (based on volume) would be:
High Danger Shots
High Danger Headed Shots
Medium Danger Shots
Very Low Danger Shots

When comparing McCrorie's Sv% to the league avg the clear area of concern is Medium Danger Shots (in the box, but on the edges)
McCrorie's Sv% on these shots from an angle is 0.714, while the league avg. is 0.803.

This is a fixable thing with the help of performance analysts. By reviewing video of these kinds of shots, it can be seen what McCrorie can do to fix his positioning on these kinds of shots
Then there's the goals allowed from Very High Danger Shots. RM's Sv% is 0.167 (avg is 0.431). These are shots from within the six yard box & it's hard to blame McCrorie on these. Rather, you'd suggest this is the defense's fault.
The problem is these shots make up 11% of the shots but 23% of goals. If Livi's defensive system can limit these kinds of shots & if McCrorie can improve his shot stopping of Medium Danger shots...you should see an improvement in his numbers.
