Listening to @warrenbarton2 praising a Mexican talent like Gael Sandoval makes my night.
I know there are folks out there who will appreciate what that means to me to hear Santos being called by someone like Warren.
@ClubSantos vs. @Xolos On FS1 in English.

In 2012 I met Warren and @KeithCostigan when they were calling European football. Both brilliant

And you’ve gotta understand...

It was unheard of (literally!) to have

I’d say that the only missing element is a collective effort by clubs & league to embrace opportunities available to them (there is a genuine interest in LMX) and with that comes an understanding of what the international audience needs to engage. A huge gap needs to be bridged.
Mexican football is attractive enough for international appeal, according to some of the greats I’ve gotten to know over the years. Honestly, hearing Warren & Keith’s voices remind me of what can be, and what’s lacking from Mexico’s part: acknowledgement, appreciation, & effort!
