Chatted with a WEF colleague that asked for advice on who she may collaborate with for an upcoming project. I immediately suggested three people knowing they were all well qualified. It was not until after the call that I realized they were all woman.
The significance of this realization is on a few levels.

1.The evolution of the wastewater industry with a significance presence of extraordinarily capable women. The same can be said of any possible definition of minority in this industry.
2.The maturation of an old white guy that the only important consideration was the most qualified people.
3.That gender, race, creed, sexual orientation, role within the industry, level of education, or hi any other manner of differentiation or discrimination should not ever again be an element of one’s thoughts when considering who may be the most qualified.
Thank you for your patience if you read through this thread and hope that my realization is truly based in reality versus mere wishfulness.
