how to get the mots on:e live album on spotify - a thread

1. use this thread link to download the files onto your laptop along w the cover you want. also pls read it all bc it has info about which order you should add them in (if you want the same exact order as concert) https://twitter.com/yoncejmn/status/1314978958316888065?s=21

2. put them all in a folder on your laptop in one place. folder name doesn’t matter just get them in one place

3. open the spotify program on your laptop —> Local Files. Make sure the show option is turned on. You can choose where you want the songs from (the folder)

4. once you have the show local files enabled local files will show up in your library.

5. open local files and move the songs you want into any playlist you want or make a new one called mots live or whatever you want it

also: I /think/ ONLY songs that you moved from local files into your playlist will show up on your phone, not all the files that are in local (if you enabled an option that made more songs aside from the live album show up)

6. ok now once you have your playlist (idk if this option is must or not but I did it) make sure all the songs are downloaded

also you need to be on the same network on your phone and your laptop

7. open the spotify app go to your settings > local files > make sure the option is enabled. then go to playback (also in settings) and make sure hide unplayable songs is turned off

8. open the playlist you made for the songs and download it and you’re done!

side note - if the cover picture for the playlist isn’t uploading just save it from the thread itself (2nd tweet) and edit it on your phone!

also i’m not sure if this properly works so if anyone can do it asap pls lmk. i re did my whole process w the instructions i mentioned here and it worked for me but just to be sure pls lmk if it doesn’t work!! i don’t wanna spread misinformation
