As we are almost a month away from Season 9 of Chicago Fire I have some thoughts to share!!!
I fell in love with Chicago Fire because the storytelling is phenomenal and leaves an impression on your heart
Something that made the biggest impression on my heart was Dawsey
How fiercely they love one another, how they would do anything for the other person, and how they go through realistic highs and lows as a couple
The fact that this B******y storyline is being entertained on the show just really hurts because it’s a slap in the face to Dawsey’s whole history!
I just feel like with what Dawsey has you can’t fill that. It’s irreplaceable and that their trying to fill that hole with her BFF. It leaves a really bad taste in my mouth! It’s not right
I know Monica’s off doing different projects but that doesn’t mean the door isn’t always open for her to come back whenever! I think the fact that she has appeared every season since she left the show, shows us that she really loves this show.
Also Matt has a lot more storylines to be explored besides romance. Mentoring Gallo, Captain responsibilities, his friendship with Severide, and so much more!!!
I know this thread may seem dramatic and it isn’t meant to be mean to anymore but if (and that’s a big if) B******y happens it’s going to be a real punch to the gut and going to be REAL hard for me to watch
