IF (and this is only an if) Taylor doesn't release any other singles or music videos, remember that the #folklore era is still a success. She created a masterpiece in quarantine and so many of us now have new favorite songs. (thread)

I wouldn't be surprised if Taylor just thought this would be a small project that she would love and nurture while she had all this free time from her postponed tour. You can see it from the surprise drop, and perhaps that's also why we're not seeing a lot of additional promo.

But she broke records. She received so much critical acclaim. People who might have overlooked her pop phase returned. People who loved her pop phase fell in love with this new era.

The greatest thing #folklore did for me was give me a new community of friends on Twitter. Even though I was socially distanced, on Twitter, I felt connected to so many new friends through Taylor's music.

So thank you, @taylorswift13. We hope you are doing well. We love you, and thank you for always sharing your music with us.
