Imagine bkdk as pro heroes that are secretly dating. It was mostly Katsuki’s idea and although Deku wasn’t particularly thrilled he went along with it because he couldn’t really argue with wanting to keep their privacy or the media shit storm it would likely cause. It works for a

while. They’re hero partners and they’ve always had a weird relationship so no one really questions how much time they spend together or the occasional touching they do in public.

But then just after a year of them being together, a large scale villain attack happens. Deku and

Kacchan are of course there, Japan’s symbols of victory and hope have yet to let them down.

The attack is a big one and Katsuki and Deku are both bloody and exhausted as the battle nears its end. There’s only one main villain left to take down and bkdk maneuver in sync to take

their ass down. It works beautifully and Katsuki doesn’t pay much mind to the building that collapses behind them as he pins the villain bastard to the ground and waits for the authorities to come and arrest them.

But after some choice shit talking to the villain beneath him

Katsuki looks around to share a victory smile with Deku only to find that he’s no where in sight. What Katsuki does see however is everyone around him in a panic, pointing to the rubble of the collapsed building and screaming Deku’s name. It doesn’t take a genius to put two and

together and Katsuki reacts immediately. He’s almost on auto pilot as he stands and shoves the captured villain into the arms of a nearby officer and all but runs to the edge of the collapsed building.

“Where the fuck is he??!!!” He yells at everyone and no one all at once as he

frantically scans the rubble heap, hoping desperately to see familiar green curls and freckled cheeks.

But he finds neither, instead all hes met with is the stunned faces of everyone else staring back at him, likely shocked at the raw emotion in Katsuki’s voice.

“What the fuck happened?!!!” He demands and finally someone’s brave enough to answer him.

“T-the building, h-he couldn’t move fast enough and it.. he.. The Hero Deku g-got trapped, Mr Ground Z-zero, sir. W-we can’t find him.”

The blood roars in Katsuki’s ears and his body moves

on its own.

He won’t remember the next ten minutes or so, though he’ll eventually watch it replayed again and again on both tv and internet alike.

The crowd around the building and those who had been attempting to search for Deku

all watch on in stunned silence as Katsuki lets out a guttural cry of anguish and falls to his knees as he begins moving the debris away by hand, piece by piece, as he calls out for Deku.

His cries start out angry.

“Deku! You damn nerd! Why the fuck didn’t you move?!!”

“You better get yourself out of this, Deku! I’m not going to look for your ass all day!!”

“I can’t believe you let yourself get trapped, you idiot!!”

But they soon turn more desperate.

“Deku, come on. Just pull yourself out, where ever the fuck you are! Just../please/!”

“You can’t do this to me, you bastard. You can’t fucking leave me, ok?!”

“Deku, please..fucking..just /please/ be ok. I need you, god dammit. I /love/ you!”

At first everyone watching just thought Katsuki was a concerned hero looking for his friend but it soon became obvious that their was more between the 2 men.

The crowd continues to watch on as Katsuki digs through the rubble, his fingers & hands torn & bleeding from his effort.

Anyone who even attempted to pull Katsuki away was meet with a snarl and the threat of a blast.

A few heroes finally rejoin the search but ultimately its Katsuki who ends up finding Deku.

He lets out a shout of relief, letting everyone know he’s found him before yelling at the

rescue heroes to ‘hurry their asses up and get over there.’

He stands aside as they arrive and lets them do their jobs, knowing Deku needs their aide.

He’s unconscious but breathing and as he’s finally lifted onto a stretcher and put in an ambulance everyone can

only stare on in shock as their Symbol of Hope is loaded into the back of an ambulance while their Symbol of Victory stands by, tears visibly falling down his anguished face.

Although it takes him several weeks, Deku ends up making a full recovery with Katsuki by his side the entire time.

The incident is all anyone can talk about and speculations fly over the relationship between the two men.

When Deku is finally released from the hospital, he and

Katsuki exit the building hand in hand. There’s paparazzi of course and none of them miss the pretty ring Deku is now sporting on his ring finger.

Katsuki hates the media but he stops to give a statement basically apologizing for hiding their relationship but explaining that

their privacy is important to them both and that he hopes that it will still be respected in the future. He goes on to say that Deku had accepted his proposal and that he hoped that their engagement spoke enough of the validity and strength of their relationship.

All the while, Deku remains quiet, staring up at his now fiancé with love shining clearly in his eyes.

Their devotion to each other is clear and although the announcement sets off another media storm, their love

story is one that will be talked about for years to come, giving people hope and victory in love as well.
