Flea by @Wallmasterr, and if you've heard of it, it's because it was just announced to be part of the upcoming Evercade Indie Heroes Vol 1 cartridge. Pre-Orders will go up soon for that. An NES cart will be available too soon.

THIS is the thread for Flea for #IGCvNES!
Never played anything like Flea. You've heard of "endless runners"? Flea is an endless jumper. The character is always hopping, and you have to navigate levels while always jumping up and down. It's novel and kinda neat.

Yea, it's totally unique and interesting. It feels like it's made in the same vein of Super Meat Boy. Hell, you can imagine that flea actually LIVES on Super Meat Boy. Hey @SuperMeatBoy this should be made canon.

Now, how much can they stretch out of this concept? #IGCvNES
The boss fight is um.........

I'm being chased by a.............

Yea, I'm just going to let the pic speak for itself this time.

This mechanic is actually not as smooth as it really need to be, and in fact I'm having trouble getting the timing of it down. It's not intuitive to use and needs to be polished further.

Flea is fine. It's not so incredible or mind blowing that it'll anchor the upcoming Evercade Indie Heroes cart on its own, but it'll certainly be a welcome addition to the cart and a game that'll earn its share of playtime within a collection. It's NES's Meat Boy/N+

Flea is pretty good. I dunno what else to say. It's so straight-forward that it's pretty limiting on what can be said. It controls fine, but I wish the "lessen your jump" mechanic was easier to pull off, maybe just hold the button to make it work? Everything else is fine
