People think lesser-evilism is a moral taint to purge oneself of when it’s actually a tactical trap we have to organize our way out of
People are like “how is this different from 2000? 2004? 2008? Are you just gonna vote for the shitty democrat every four years????”

The answer is probably yes, until we can get a socialist who can win on the general election ballot. It sucks! We almost did it this time!
People are also like "we have to teach the DNC a lesson!"

If you really believe that, organize a boycott of the election or go hard for a third party. Is that the strategy? Discipline the Democratic Party through abstention?
Others are like "what kind of message does this send? Socialists helping a neoliberal monster like Joe Biden? We will mislead the working class!"

Lying about what outcome we actually want is what misleads the working class. Please go read UE's statement. Or Bernie's. Or CTU's.
Finally, people say "we need to be targeting the real base we want to recruit, the millions of working class voters who don't vote."

I am not compelled that those millions are more open to socialist politics than the millions who are unhappily voting Biden. We need both in DSA.
I have searched far and wide and have not found any compelling arguments that:

1) A Trump loss on Nov 3 is not the best outcome
2) We should obscure that fact from ourselves and others
3) We should not organize for the results we hope to see
