why you should learn what each lgbtq flag stands for

- a very necessary thread
for the last two weeks i’ve been learning all the lgbtq flags for oct. 11 because even though i’m not part of community i wanted to show my support.
and it’s really not hard to just take some time and learn what each flag stands for and i can 100% tell you that it makes a difference and it makes the person who identifies with that flag feel valid.
i know that i probably should have already knew them but i only knew the basic ones. i never bothered to learn the more complex ones and that was just laziness on my part. i’m just happy to say that i’m glad many of you now know who you are
and since today is coming out day i’ve putting flags that you will see all over your timeline today on this thread so that you can acknowledge them and congratulate your moot on being valid and figuring out who they are because it’s a wonderful thing
the bisexual flag
the lesbian flag
the gay flag
- some people don’t like the blue stripes and may choose the rainbow flag instead
the unlabeled flag
the transgender flag
the gender fluid flag
the genderqueer flag
the asexual flag
the pansexual flag
the non binary flag
please let me know if you want me to include another flag and i will.

- i kinda don’t like this flag because i don’t think it needs a flag but i’m a straight ally. i support you amd love you because you are valid.
