Especially if you look at the EO, the specific threat of eradicating this work in government settings is terrifying. The only way true democracy and functioning gov exists is through proper representation. That CANNOT happen if EDI is not a requirement, let alone accessible.

My personal perspective in my (Canadian albeit) government work has been greatly impacted by the perspectives and knowledge provided in EDI training and work in my department. Our counterparts down south not working to protect that should be something people are SCREAMING about.
