bug stuff:
i don't think i'll ever get the hang of keeping a springtail culture alive over charcoal.. every time i've tried the whole population has crashed within a few weeks!? in my vivs and on substrate they're doing fine but it'd be so much easier with charcoal aghhh

i'm feeding either rice granules or josh's frogs springtail food, there's a bit of water at the bottom, charcoal is 100% natural, and i'm opening to vent daily or every other day. i just cant figure out what's going wrong

(i dont think i really have much of a vivarium/bugkeeping/frogkeeping following lol but if anyone has any input i'm all ears)
