Are we done with U.S. impacts from tropical storms or hurricanes this year? Well, historically, there's less than 20% of the season left: #HurricaneSeason
However, there's been some pretty notable storms past October 11th. These include Sandy in 2012, Wilma in 2005
Is there anything we are watching right now? Nothing specific but there are some signs that the Western Caribbean could produce another tropical entity in the 10-14 day time frame indicated by the precipitation anomaly on both the GFS and the Euro. Something to watch!
This area is also being monitored by the CPC for possible tropical development in week 2:
