Autumn 1 is almost over, and we are yet to burst a bubble across three school settings. The tension is rising.

Some">https://www.tes.com/news/coro... thoughts I had, anticipating how I will actually work from home with a 2.5yo and a 4yo and a husband if required... 1/

Let& #39;s start with my Year 11s. They& #39;re top set. They were good at managing themselves during lockdown. They know how to use MS Teams. They are capable of writing in silence for 45 minutes... 2/
I record 20 minute lectures when my children are asleep.

I upload these to the MS Teams lesson. They listen to the lecture and make notes.

They plan and respond to an essay/ exam question.

This wouldn& #39;t be so bad for two weeks. 3/
I steal my husband& #39;s blue tooth headphones (or persuade him to buy a & #39;work pair& #39; on the company). I am available for Q&A during the live lesson on mute, whilst also being available for my children to avoid them crashing the lesson with yelling... Would that work? 4/
Now to my Year 10 class. They are a completely different group. There are two TAs in the class, and (presumably) a cover supervisor.

Could the class be split and the TAs deliver the lessons to two small groups? Do we have the rooming capacity for this? 5/
Could I select the students who could follow a pre-recorded lecture lesson to remain with the cover supervisor?

What about spending a weekend transforming two weeks of lessons into a booklet to complete independently and being available for Q&A but not lesson delivery? 6/
Year 8... where to start... Some sort of independent project to complete whilst reading through & #39;War Horse& #39; so at least the text would be finished by the time I came back, and I could play catch up with all of the lessons that required & #39;proper& #39; teaching? 7/
