Let's start with my Year 11s. They're top set. They were good at managing themselves during lockdown. They know how to use MS Teams. They are capable of writing in silence for 45 minutes... 2/
I record 20 minute lectures when my children are asleep.

I upload these to the MS Teams lesson. They listen to the lecture and make notes.

They plan and respond to an essay/ exam question.

This wouldn't be so bad for two weeks. 3/
I steal my husband's blue tooth headphones (or persuade him to buy a 'work pair' on the company). I am available for Q&A during the live lesson on mute, whilst also being available for my children to avoid them crashing the lesson with yelling... Would that work? 4/
Now to my Year 10 class. They are a completely different group. There are two TAs in the class, and (presumably) a cover supervisor.

Could the class be split and the TAs deliver the lessons to two small groups? Do we have the rooming capacity for this? 5/
Could I select the students who could follow a pre-recorded lecture lesson to remain with the cover supervisor?

What about spending a weekend transforming two weeks of lessons into a booklet to complete independently and being available for Q&A but not lesson delivery? 6/
Year 8... where to start... Some sort of independent project to complete whilst reading through 'War Horse' so at least the text would be finished by the time I came back, and I could play catch up with all of the lessons that required 'proper' teaching? 7/
