As usual, these steps are very vague. At least two major red flags about this list.

1. Timelines. You have provided no timelines whatsoever for when 4 out of 5 of these steps will happen.

2. Priorities. You have provided no sense of which steps you are prioritising (cont’d). https://twitter.com/policeng/status/1315271810041163776
2. Because if this list is the order of priorities we’ll sleep here. Are you saying people have to wait till redeployments have happened (knowing how long such can take in Nigeria) before investigations will start?

If you are engaging them, please ask serious questions.
Like what does number 3 even mean? Nigeria’s education spending might be $200 per student per year ( https://dailytrust.com/world-bank-says-nigeria-spends-200-per-student-annually) but we’re not stupid.
You know what isn’t vague? You know what has a timeline and a clear set of priorities? Police brutality. Which happens every day and goes unchecked. Match that energy. #EndSARSNow
Calling out the problem is one thing and what we accept as the solution is another, and is perhaps an even more important thing. Please ask questions, demand answers and real steps. We’ve been down this road many times. https://twitter.com/wallelawal/status/1314516636741914625
