I’ve found myself distancing myself from others because they keep socializing without masks and congregating without care, disregarding the lives of others.

My circle is closing because of the ignorance or indifference people have. Is the virus gone? Is there a vaccine?

No.

It’s tough bc I want to call people out but don’t have the energy to explain why congregating in this manner makes them complicit.

People can get infected.
Can get sick.
Can die.

If they don’t recognize or care about their complicity despite 1mil dead I don’t have time to waste

This is why we need more people with chronic illnesses and disabilities centered in our media to discuss the impact this pandemic is having on people who don’t have the privilege to blatantly disregard safety.

I’ve rejected a lot of invites to hang out. People just don’t get it.

I guess we have to wait to see how many more people need to die from this pandemic before people really wake up.
