The tweets about how difficult lockdown in Naarm is are curious - 'there is no other experience like this' etc etc. No one else, except disabled, chronically ill people (among others), who were forced to live like this before the pandemic, and now, even more so than before.
For many, even the privilege of going outside: on a walk, to the shops - is impossible. I just wish people would realise many have suffered this experience for decades upon decades - and not been heard.
And furthermore, there is no certain end for them (us). When restrictions eventually ease, there will be no freedom. The inaccessibility and isolation will continue. It's far beyond time that more people considered it. Deeply.
