Well that explains the sudden uptick in fraud calls & texts ffs
Really pisses me off. I never give my mobile to anyone for this reason, but a) this isn’t optional and b) it specifically said in both instances I had to scan a QR code that my data would be deleted after a couple of weeks & that it was only stored for track & trace.
Horse has bolted now though. My number is out there. Another fuck up by this utterly incompetent government obsessed with outsourcing every bloody thing.
So the only places I’ve been where I’ve had to do the QR code thing are @PastaioLondon and Prince of Wales Highgate @starpubsandbars. Would be very interested to know to whom they outsourced their track & trace data collection & storage.
